My name is Joe Perry and I represent District 32 in the Maine Senate.  I am working with Representative Don Pilon, the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities New England (CARD NE), and Giving Autism Balance and Equality (GABE) to help raise money for the proposed Maine Autism specialty plate.  Other supporters include the Cross Insurance Agency and Kennebunk Savings Bank.

The theme for the plate we are proposing is “Give Autism a Hand.” As with any specialty license plate, supporters are required to gather 2,000 signatures along with a $25.00 deposit from those who are interested. The Legislature must also approve the proposed request.
